British by birth, American by choice & fortunate to be living in the foothill mountains of the Shenandoah Valley in Virginia.
I enjoy nature, animals, meeting people & traveling to out-of-the-way places.
Since leaving the classroom I find I am addicted to my camera. My photo inventory reflects my adventures.
After filling requests for original note cards for family & friends, I decided to make them available to others.
The Shenandoah Valley with it mountains is also the home to Bustleburg Studio. It became an official local business in 2009 when I finally decided, at the urging of friends & family, to Blog my experiences with my photography and note cards.
You will find some of my photographs and Bustleburg Original Note Cards throughout the Blog.
Thank you for stopping by, hopefully, you will find a few images that make you smile or just want to get outside and enjoy where you live.

Awesome Chris..I’ll be seeking guidance from you. Which is about as close to “taking it out in trade” as we’ll ever get. ( A sigh of relief is heard across the internet)
I was hoping that snow wasn’t yours. Barb had to go through “white hell” this morning to make it to work. I’ll be keeping a regular check on your blog.
Looks great.
